Statement of Purpose

The Homeschool Sports Day Program is a nonprofit Christian service organization established to serve home school families and students in Houston and the surrounding area. The organization consists of volunteer Christians who have joined together to provide enrichment activities, athletic training and competition for home school students. We are united in our goal to educate and train children in a Christian environment. . Homeschool Sports Day Program does not discriminate in its provision of services due to race or religion.

Statement of Belief

Homeschool Sports Day is a Christian organization, which subscribes to the basic tenants of Biblical Christianity. The following statements are the belief positions of Homeschool Sports Day and the basis for its operations.

The Bible, both Old and New Testaments, are the inspired, inerrant, infallible, and final authoritative Word of God.

There is only one God, eternally existing in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. God the Son was revealed in the person of Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man in the flesh, except without sin. God the Holy Spirit indwells and seals any person who accepts Jesus Christ’s sacrificial death as the only payment for their sin.

Homeschool Sports Day Program does not require that participants agree with all points of its Statement of Faith. Only that all participants recognize and accept that Homeschool Sports Day Program and its leadership adheres to the Statement of Faith.
